2.5 Affiliate Partner Data
Where you apply to or participate in the mrocon Affiliate Program (mrocon.at/affiliate), we process the following categories of personal data: your name, e-mail address, country of residence, entity type, company name (if applicable), audience description, primary and secondary promotion channels (with URLs), sample-of-work URL, product interests, customer-status declaration, compliance declarations (age, FTC disclosure acknowledgement, GDPR consent, marketing opt-in if given), and — after approval — payout method, payout account details, tax-form information (EU VAT-ID, W-9 / W-8BEN as applicable), and business address.
The legal basis for this processing is the performance of the affiliate contract or pre-contractual measures requested by you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), and our legitimate interest in vetting prospective partners and operating the Program (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Marketing-newsletter opt-ins, where given, are processed on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time.
Retention. Application data of applicants who are not approved is retained for twenty-four (24) months from the decision date, after which it is deleted, unless statutory retention periods (in particular under Austrian tax and commercial law) require longer storage. Data of approved affiliates is retained for the duration of the affiliate contract and for the statutory retention periods (typically seven years from the end of the calendar year of the last business transaction).
Recipients. We share affiliate-partner data with our affiliate-platform processor (numok, self-hosted on Hetzner Cloud, Nürnberg, Germany — EU), our payout processors (Stripe Inc., USA; Wise Payments Ltd., United Kingdom; PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., Luxembourg, depending on the payout method you select), and tax authorities where required by law. International transfers to the United States and the United Kingdom rely on the EU Commission's adequacy decisions and the standard contractual clauses (SCCs) where applicable.
